Graduate Students

Dr. Zhao will be accepting graduate students for Fall 2026. Students will be admitted through the Experimental Psychology Ph.D. program at TCU. The program provides rigorous training in psychological science with opportunities for specialization in neuroscience, cognition, and social psychology. We are seeking motivated students with:

  • A strong interest in behavioral neuroscience and social behavior.

  • Prior research experience in psychology, neuroscience, or related fields (preferred but not required).

  • A commitment to developing independent research skills and contributing to a collaborative lab environment.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

We are always looking to have enthusiastic and motivated undergraduates interested in behavioral neuroscience join our group. We provide opportunities to receive research and professional training and research credits to undergraduates interested in pursuing many fields of study: Neuroscience, Animal Behavior, Molecular & Cell Biology, Psychology, Pre-health, and many others.
